Dear Mother,

Just a few  lines to let you know that until further notice my address will be Brownlee Sask as I have been transferred to new territory in what they call the Outlook branch of the CPR. It is a branch running from Moose Jaw North and west to a town called Outlook after which it is named.  Awfully sorry to hear of poor uncle Dan dying and also more than glad Father was home. Will write more when I get located. The weather is lovely here in the city. Hardly any signs of winter warm and dust flying on the streets. Going to Brownlee this afternoon at 3 pm or as they call it here 15 oclock.  Hope you are well.
