Abbott-Detroit 1913
"The Abbott-Detroit advertising will be printed in serial form, No.1 ad here (unknown but possibly Youth's Companion), No 2 in the Saturday Evening Post, No.3 in Colliers and No.4 in Life Magazine and No 5 in The Literary Digest."
So says the blurb at center: what a bizarre advertising strategy, but I guess they were trying everything back then. This ad shows people; it's a kind of 'lifestyle' ad. Check out the hats, one big, two small. The big hats of the time were simply impractical for car rides.
