1912 Ticket Grand Trunk Railway
Montreal to Sherbrooke

Norman Nicholson returned briefly to Richmond for his brother in law's funeral. This is likely a ticket he used. Ironically, this ticket was used but a month before the Titanic went down. And if you look closely at the ticket, it is signed Charles Hays. Hays was President of the railway and the most prominent Montrealer to go down with that ship. The map below shows Kingsbury. A couple of summers ago my husband and I tried to find Kingsbury, but no luck. Now we have a map, so maybe this summer we will visit what's left of that place.
