Business Letter: Canadian Transcontinental Railway 1909

Norman Nicholson kept handwritten copies of all correspondence. Here he is writing his former employer about unfinished business. He was fired from the Quebec Section job in 1910, after going AWOL. He wrote MP E.W.Tobin and Tobin helped him get work on the railway, this time in Ontario.  This Tighsolas website exists because of Norman's work between 1908-1913 on the railway. It's only because he was away, leaving his wife Margaret home alone, that all these letters exist.   Luckily, the 1908-1913 pre-war period is a pivotal one in history. I have 1000 Tighsolas letters, from 1879 to 1936.
