One dairy churn 4.75. Here are two collages of essential bills: mortgage, $90 per year, 6% interest on 1,500; meat, milk, doctor, dentist, school fees (50 cents a month per child), etc. Tighsolas's mortgage was like an albatross around the Nicholsons' neck and they owed it to the man next door. How embarrassing! Dr. Moffat moved to Vancouver in 1912. The dentist Cleveland, a relation, moved to Montreal and hosted the girls often in his city home in 1908-1913. Milk comes from a doctor. This must have been reassuring in the age of the White Peril, contaminated milk.
